Human Resources
Internship
This is great job for a self-starter who wants to be able to get experience building human resources policies and procedures.
Your day-to-day focus will be on creating training plans, employee management and relations, and HR operations. You will be able to use your creativity with little to no restrictions to create an HR strategy for a small business. You will also have direct access to the CEO who is a former management consultant and operations manager. This position is remote so you can do it all from the comfort of your couch.

Qualifications
• Sophomore/Junior/Senior/Master's Student in Business or Communications Field
• Looking to satisfy internship requirement
• Can provide 5-15 hours weekly
• Can travel to Washington, DC 2x per month (Travel costs covered by company)
Responsibilities
• Interns will be able to gain wide exposure to employee relations, data management and analysis, organizational policy strategy, benefits administration, audits, and other projects as they occur day to day in the department
• Gathering and filing personnel information
• Collecting and analyzing HR Data Assistance with project management
• Updating the HR Policy Site Developing and/or editing documents, updating various special human resources documents (presentations, spreadsheets and graphs, employee documents, draft messages, etc.)
• Editing documents and/or formatting HR policies and procedures
• Developing and/or editing HR forms
• Miscellaneous clerical work (mailing, printing, database entry, etc.)
• Work with the Founder to update and post job ads in various websites and job boards
• Work with Founder to create recruitment tools
• Ensure background and reference checks are completed
• Assist with recruitment events and activities
• Work with Founder to review resumes and finding potential candidates for open positions
• Special projects for the HR Department as needed

Operations
Internship
As the operations management intern, your day-to-day focus will be on managing workflows, auditing processes, and conducting workforce analysis. You will be able to use your understanding of numbers and wits with little to no restrictions to manage a small business. You will also have direct access to the CEO who is a former management consultant and operations manager. This position is remote so you can do it all from the comfort of your couch.

Qualifications
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Master's Student in Business Administration, or similar
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Meeting minutes/summary reports
• Meeting coordination
• Travel planning
• Data analysis
• Software: Google Suite, Dubsado
• Must be able to travel to Washington DC 2x per month (Travel reimbursement provided)
Responsibilities
• Provides support for various administrative tasks
• Coordinate meeting planning and logistical arrangements, including room and audiovisual reservations, Zoom, and other remote connection arrangements; prepare and transmit agendas and relevant materials; contact and communicate with participants; prepare and distribute meeting minutes
• Provide advanced preparation of documents including travel, training, etc. for assigned program areas for completeness and compliance with policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation, routing of contract documents
• Draft responses to questions that arise during the process
• Acts as point of contact with management and administrative staff
• Develops, maintains and updates documentation, databases and spreadsheets
• Generate or assist in the preparation of meeting minutes, routine reports, and other office documentation to facilitate effective and efficient office operations, including monitoring deadlines and action items
• Maintain work files and related communication in shared files and Provide controlled correspondence support including creating file folders, making, and collating copies, etc

Marketing
Internship
This internship is best for students looking to fulfill their internship credit and get real world experience working for a small marketing organization.
Your day-to-day focus will be on analyzing social media trends and creating content. You will be able to use your creativity with little to no restrictions to create a social media strategy for a small business. You will also have direct access to the CEO who is a former management consultant and operations manager. This position is remote so you can do it all from the comfort of your couch.

Qualifications
• Junior or Senior with a degree in Business or Communications (or related disciplines)
• 0-1 year of experience in digital/social media marketing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ambition to learn and grow
• Ability to travel to DC 1-2x per month (travel costs paid by company)
• Comfortable participating in internal discussions and brainstorms
Responsibilities
• In this role, you will develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns that will lead our clients to exceed their most challenging communications and brand goals
• You will be part of a small leadership team that works together to build and execute modern communications and marketing campaigns
• Daily, you will support the brand with developing content, monitoring paid/organic social media channels, performing community management activities, identifying opportunities for brand engagement
• Additionally, you’ll gain first-hand analytical experience by helping develop performance reports
• This role requires attending meetings with project teams
• This is a part-time to full-time role with hours ranging from 15-35 hours a week depending on your internship credit requirement
• Create content for social media, advertising, and emails
• Create or refresh documented processes for managing social media channels, working with the client to get approval
• This includes creating a bank of pre-approved responses and replies to customers’ social media posts, as well as documenting best practices and guidance for social media channel management
• Use social media listening and management tool(s) to monitor and respond to online conversations
• Provide social media reports and discuss insights with clients, making strategic recommendations to improve performance
• Attend and lead in-person meetings with the client bringing innovative tactics and ideas to the team

Event Management & Marketing
Internship
As the event management and marketing intern, your day-to-day focus will be on managing event operations, identify sponsorship opportunities, and developing creative ways to market agency events. You will be able to use your love for creativity and design with little to no restrictions to manage our invite-only events. You will also have direct access to the CEO who is a former management consultant and operations manager. This position is remote so you can do it all from the comfort of your couch.

Responsibilities
• Provides support for various administrative tasks
• Coordinate meeting planning and logistical arrangements, including room and audiovisual reservations, Zoom, and other remote connection arrangements; prepare and transmit agendas and relevant materials; contact and communicate with participants; prepare and distribute meeting minutes

• Assisting with the creation of proposals for upcoming events
• Monitoring events happening in the DC area and communicating findings with the Events team
• Proofreading, managing and organizing decks, proposals, run-of-show documents, and one-sheeters
• Compiling research on new and existing sponsor in order to assist the team in strategizing and brainstorming event concepts and ideas
• Conducting research on local vendors and partners
• Providing on-the-ground support day-of and during events
